It is my pleasure to announce my candidacy for re-election to Asheville City Council. I am proud to have served the citizens of Asheville for the past four years and am eager to continue this work.

We’ve seen significant changes in Asheville since the pandemic. Rents have risen over 40% as demand for more housing has surged. Public safety and core city service departments have struggled with staff retention and growing needs. Key infrastructure work has fallen behind, including water systems and first responder stations. Homelessness and mental health needs loom while new services build and commence.

These challenges, while immense, each have solutions underway. We must focus our efforts and continue the hard and steady path of rebuilding.

I have worked tirelessly to be a voice for the people of Asheville, I am committed to listening to your concerns, representing your values, and sharing as much information as I can.

Thank you for allowing me to serve; my knowledge of and love for this city have only grown in this first term.
